Description:

Description for B&B:

Situated in the picturesque Perche Sarthois region, the stunning château de Chéronne and its meticulously designed park find themselves nestled amidst a sprawling 400-hectare expanse of lush woodlands and meadows. Enhancing the natural beauty of the property is the presence of the Chéronne river, meandering gracefully through the front pond and housing a diverse array of captivating wildlife.

The entrance gatehouse, believed to be the original castle dating back to around 1490, holds great historical significance and is recognized by the esteemed French National Trust.

Constructed during the 16th century, the castle itself underwent modifications in the 17th century to eliminate its defensive architectural elements such as moats and drawbridges. Subsequently, in the 19th century, the main facades were meticulously restored to exhibit a splendid Renaissance style, adding a touch of grandeur to this timeless masterpiece.
