This rural self-catering cottage, made of country stones, is settled in a restored old barn. It can accommodate up to 4 people and offers a peaceful natural setting while being conveniently close to Lake of Causse, where you can enjoy water activities such as bathing, rowing, and fishing. The cottage is located at the end of a cul-de-sac path and is part of a group of buildings surrounding a yard on a 15-hectare estate, allowing for safe walks in the forest. The owners live in a house on the other side of the yard.The cottage has a capacity for 4 people and a surface area of 65m². The spacious living-room, which includes a cooking area, is 44m² and opens onto a terrace. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140cm) and a child bed, and the other with two single beds (90cm). The bathroom has a shower, and there is a separate toilet. The cottage is equipped with electrical heating, a gas hotplate, an electrical oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a washing-machine, a refrigerator, and a freezer. A high chair for a baby is also available. The terrace overlooks the garden and is furnished with a set of garden furniture and a barbecue.
For shopping, there is a commercial center 3km away, and the town center of Brive La Gaillarde is only 5km away.
There are many picturesque villages to visit in the area, such as Donzenac, Turenne, Collonges-la-Rouge, and Curemonte. The slate quarry of Travassac and the Pompadour National stud farm are also worth a visit. Additionally, there are many prehistoric sites to explore, including Lascaux. The village of Rocamadour and the gulf of Padirac are located 50km away. Regional markets, festivals, and artists exhibitions are also held in the area.
The prices for 2009 are as follows: Very high season - 420€ per week (charges included), High season - 400€ per week (charges included), Middle season - 350€ per week + charges, Low season - 320€ per week + charges, School holiday periods - 350€ per week + charges, and Week-end - 120€ + charges.
