This charming 19th century house has been lovingly restored to create a delightful town house atmosphere. Guests can unwind in the comfortable sitting room and enjoy their meals in either the dining room or on the terrace.

Our spacious 2-bedroom apartment is located within the main part of the chambres dhotes property, but it has its own private and separate entrance as well as access to the garden. Renovated in 2014, the apartment features a beautifully decorated open plan lounge/kitchen/diner that is fully equipped with modern amenities such as a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, oven, hob, microwave, and fridge. There is one double bedroom and one smaller bedroom suitable for either two children or another adult. The bathroom and bedrooms are located upstairs from the sitting room/kitchen area. We provide all the necessary crockery, cutlery, linen, bedding, and towels for your convenience, along with a small welcome pack and a bottle of the local wine.

Each of our three spacious and airy bedrooms offers en-suite facilities and is thoughtfully furnished for your comfort. All main bedrooms overlook the beautiful garden and the La Seugne river. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the property.

A restful night's sleep and a hearty breakfast are the perfect ingredients for a great day exploring the charming Charente-Maritime region. We are more than happy to provide suggestions and advice for your day trips, outings, and activities based on your individual preferences.

Les Balcons de la Seugne is located in the town of Pons, in the Charente-Maritime department of South-West France.

* If you are coming from the A10, take junction 36 and continue onto the D732 (route Gemozac) towards Pons. Stay on the D732 through 3 roundabouts. At the 4th roundabout (junction with the D142), take the 3rd exit onto Route de Jonzac (D142). Follow this road for approximately 800 meters until you reach a mini-roundabout. Go straight over it and you will be on rue Charles de Gaulle. Number 33 is located 200 meters further on the right side.

* If you are coming from Cognac, take the D732 towards Pons/Gemozac for 22km. Follow the signs for Pons center. At the roundabout with the D700, turn right onto Rue dArchiac. Continue for approximately 800 meters until you reach a mini-roundabout. Take the second exit onto rue Charles de Gaulle. Number 33 is located 200 meters further on the right side.

* If you are coming from Saintes, take the D137 south and follow the signs to Pons. After approximately 18km, take the exit marked Pons center (EB3). After 450 meters, turn right onto Ave. Gambetta. After 850 meters, turn left onto Rue Eparades (opposite the Auberge Pontoise). After 200 meters, go straight at the junction onto rue Charles de Gaulle. Number 33, Les Balcons de la Seugnes, is located 200 meters on your left.

Parking is available either 20 meters before Les Balcons de la Seugne on the left side, just before the Boulangerie (if coming from A10 Cognac), or 100 meters further down the street on the right side. Reverse these directions if coming in from the D137 from Saintes.
