Description for B&B:
In the heart of the village, we invite you to experience the charm of a fully restored historic house, which was once the old town hall and school. This beautiful building stands on the foothills of the now destroyed Castle St Georges.Overlooking the Roya Valley from atop a cliff, the village of Saorge exudes a "Tibetan" atmosphere. Positioned along the GR52 and the Route du Baroque Nisso Ligure, it serves as a gateway to the Mercantour National Park and the Valley of Marvels. With its ideal location between the sea and the mountains, the village is only 30km (20 minutes) away from the sea (Ventimiglia) and 70km (1 hour) from Nice.
Each of our tastefully decorated rooms offers a unique atmosphere, combining comfort and authenticity. These rooms are named after the village fountains: Geija, Caquée, Soutai, Caranca, and Medge. All rooms feature a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and are equipped with either a 160cm or 180cm separable bed.
Our guest rooms hold the prestigious label of "Charmance" and have been awarded three ears.
