Monthou sur Cher is located in the Loir-et-Cher department, within the Centre region of France. It is approximately 210 miles away from Dieppe and 300 miles away from Calais. The town is situated 30 miles to the east of Tours.
To reach Monthou sur Cher, you have two options. You can either take the toll roads via Le Mans and Aleçon to Tours, or you can use the A roads which will take you through Rouen, Evreux, Dreux, Chartres, Chateaudun, and Blois before reaching Monthou sur Cher.
If you prefer to travel by train, you can take a train from Ashford in Kent to Tours via Paris. The TGV train from Paris to Tours takes approximately 56 minutes.
Alternatively, if you prefer to fly, there are cheap flights available from Stansted airport to Tours-Val de Loire airport.
