Welcome to Orée des Vignes, a charming guest house nestled at the entrance of over 70 hectares of picturesque vineyards. Our large mansard-style house, typical of Tours, offers a refreshing and inviting stay. Situated in Saint Georges sur Cher, in the Loir et Cher department, our guest house boasts an ideal location between the renowned Château de Chenonceau and the Zoo de Beauval, in the heart of the enchanting Châteaux de la Loire region. We are also surrounded by a delectable culinary scene, including Touraine wines and exquisite goat cheese.During your stay, you will be accommodated in our newly furnished and air-conditioned "Amber" room. This comfortable space, with its cozy ambiance, can comfortably accommodate up to three people. From your room, you will enjoy stunning views of the vineyards, and if you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the graceful horses or hot air balloons soaring above the house between April and October.
Should you desire a moment of tranquility, our expansive garden awaits you, complete with a majestic cedar tree and outdoor games to enjoy. After a fulfilling day exploring the region, take a well-deserved rest in this serene space.
Please note that check-in is between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., but we are happy to accommodate different arrival times upon request. Check-out is before 10:30 a.m.
To ensure your utmost comfort, we can prepare breakfasts tailored to your dietary needs, such as gluten or lactose-free options. Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and can be arranged in advance.

Experience a comfortable and inviting stay in our newly renovated, air-conditioned, and tranquil gite.The Salomon room, with its generous 15 m² area, offers a cozy space for 1 or 2 guests. It features a comfortable 140 x 200 bed for a restful night's sleep.
For a spacious retreat, the Amber room provides a total area of 20m² and can accommodate up to 3 guests. It is furnished with an electric bed of 2x80x200 and an additional bed of 90/190.
Indulge in the generous 26m² Marie-Jeanne room, which can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests. This room is equipped with a luxurious 160 x 200 bed, a 90/190 bed, and even a child's bed. Alternatively, it can be arranged with two beds of 90/190.
Each bedroom offers a private bathroom complete with a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail, and a separate toilet. You will find towels and a hair dryer provided for your convenience.
Immerse yourself in the picturesque surroundings as you gaze upon the vineyards from your room. Perhaps, if you're fortunate, you may even catch a glimpse of the majestic horses or the enchanting hot air balloons that grace the skies above our property from April to October.

To get to LOrée des Vignes, follow these travel directions:
Head towards the Tours - Bourges axis. Take the A 85 motorway and exit at number 11 called "Sublaines". From there, continue in the direction of Vierzon until you reach St Georges sur Cher. Drive through the village and when you reach the honorable hiding place, turn onto Gilbert Michel street. After that, take the second left onto Saint Vincent street. This street is quite long, and you will find LOrée des Vignes just after the street called Des Vignes, on the left-hand side. Look for the penultimate house with a large black iron gate.
