Located in Maisons-Laffitte, a city renowned for its equestrian culture, this fully restored accommodation offers a truly authentic French experience. Whether you are a tourist or a business traveler, you will be enchanted by the rare and original ambiance it provides.Step inside and you will be greeted by a charming courtyard adorned with gray Trianon paving and antique furniture. The comfortable chairs, carpets on the light wood floor, and curtains and bedspread in toile de Jouy create an elegant atmosphere. The leather-covered desk, bronze sconces, and crystal chandelier add a touch of sophistication. You will also appreciate the elegant crockery and high-quality Egyptian cotton bed linen.
While we have preserved the traditional French aesthetic, we have not neglected modern comforts. The accommodation is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, extractor hood, espresso machine, refrigerator, freezer, and a separate bedroom with a comfortable 160 bed. In the living room, there are two additional beds, a color TV with cable, a DVD player, a printer, wireless internet, a telephone, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, a vacuum cleaner, and more.
Within just 8 minutes' walk from the train station, you can easily reach Paris via the RER A line, with the Defense district only 10 minutes away and the Champs Elysées just 15 minutes away. Alternatively, you can take the SNCF train and arrive at Saint Lazare station in 20 minutes, which is conveniently close to well-known department stores such as Printemps and Galeries Lafayette.
The RER A line also provides direct access to Disneyland. In the city center, just 10 minutes away, you will find The Grocery Longueil, a renowned deli that is famous throughout the region. There is also a supermarket, a discount store, numerous restaurants, and bakeries to explore.
The city is home to a beautiful park, built in the seventeenth century by Mansart, which is surrounded by stunning homes, two of which have been transformed into gourmet restaurants. Near the racetrack, you can admire the stables and observe the thoroughbreds training. If you enjoy outdoor activities, you can also go horseback riding, play golf, or take a stroll in the nearby forest of Saint Germain en Laye, which is just 10 minutes away.
Saint Germain en Laye, located 7km from Maisons-Laffitte, is a bustling city known for its commercial offerings and is the birthplace of Louis XIV. To reach Charles de Gaulle airport, you can take a car and it will be approximately 36 km away. The journey will take around 90 minutes if you choose to use the RER. Take the RER B Massy direction and get off at Châtelet-les-Halles station. From there, transfer to the RER A Poissy direction and get off at Maisons-Laffitte station.
If you are heading to Orly airport, it is about 39 km away when traveling by car. If you prefer to use public transportation, the journey will also take approximately 90 minutes. Take the Orlyval metro to Antony, and then transfer to the RER B Charles de Gaulle airport direction. Get off at Châtelet-les-Halles station and continue your journey by taking the RER A Poissy direction. Finally, get off at Maisons-Laffitte station.
