To reach the Château de Villeneuve, there are several transportation options available:
By plane: You can fly to Cacassonne airport from London and Brussels with Ryanair.
By train: The nearest train station is Carcassonne station, operated by SNCF.
By bus: There is a bus service available from Carcassonne to Montolieu. Please refer to the timetable for more details.
By car:
- If you are coming from Toulouse, take Motorway A61 and exit at Castelnaudary. Then, follow RN113 in the direction of Carcassonne. Upon reaching Alzonne, take the D8 road. Once you reach Montolieu, continue through the village towards Saissac and Revel. After 2 km, you will see a small road on your right indicating "Villeneuve". The castle is just a short distance ahead.
- If you are coming from Narbonne, take Motorway A61 towards Toulouse. Exit at Carcassonne Ouest and continue on RN113 in the direction of Toulouse. After passing through Pezens, turn right towards Revel and keep going after Moussoulens. Once you reach Montolieu, proceed through the village towards Saissac and Revel. After 2 km, you will find a small road on your right indicating "Villeneuve". The castle is located a few hundred meters down this road.
