Canel is nestled within a picturesque landscape encompassing 20 hectares of organic farmland, ancient woodlands, vineyards, plum orchards, and breathtaking views. With a rich history of farming, the chateau has housed cows, calves, chickens, and produced eggs, wine, plums, prunes, flour, and bread. Currently, there are three cats on the premises, with the possibility of chickens joining them by summer to provide guests with fresh eggs for breakfast.Start your day with a delightful breakfast served on the courtyard terrace, offering a splendid view of the charming bastide town of Tournon d'Agenais. In the evenings, unwind and bask under the awe-inspiring night sky at this serene spot.
Each bedroom at Canel boasts a private bathroom, complete with a shower and/or bath, along with a hairdryer and various toiletries. We provide all the necessary bed and bath linen, as well as towels for your convenience by the pool.
The swimming pool is accessible throughout the day, every day, while children and parents can enjoy the excitement of our expansive trampoline or engage in a friendly game of table tennis in the barn.
If desired, we offer a full 3-course meal upon reservation. Additionally, any night of the week, we can provide a delectable assortment of cheeses, cold meats, bread, and local wine.

We are located in the vicinity of Cahors, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, and Agen.
To reach us from Tournon d'Agenais, head towards Cahors. After traveling 300m, make a left turn towards Thézac. Continue on this road for 4km and then turn right when you see the prominent wine bottle of Vin du Tsar. After 300m, you will arrive at Canel, which is the first house on the right side.
