Description:

Description for B&B:

Situated amidst a lush park filled with ancient trees, just 400 meters away from the sparkling sea, the Domain of the "Eolienne" invites you to experience an unforgettable vacation on the azure coast of Carqueiranne.

Originally built in the early 19th century and tastefully refurbished in 2009, this charming countryhouse can comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 guests. With its expansive 1400 square meter garden, the property offers a tranquil retreat that is perfectly balanced between nature and the convenience of nearby urban areas. Located just 20 kilometers from Toulon and 5 kilometers from Hyères, you can bask in the region's abundant sunshine, which graces the area with an average of 300 days of sunshine per year. Whether you wish to explore the myriad attractions of the surrounding region or simply unwind on pristine beaches, this location is an ideal starting point.

The name of the domain stems from a historic windmill that once stood on the premises. Its purpose was to draw water from a well and transfer it to a cistern, providing irrigation for the neighboring farmlands. This innovative water collection and storage system brought great wealth to a region often plagued by drought. Although the windmill was unfortunately destroyed during World War II, the avenue leading to the house still bears its name: the avenue of the Valley of the wind turbine.
