Located above the coastal plain in the Aspres, nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees, our establishment offers a range of amenities and activities to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Guests can unwind by the pool, while we take care of providing refreshing cold drinks and food. For further relaxation, we have a jacuzzi spa available. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the excellent hill-walking opportunities right from our doorstep. Cyclists and mountain-bikers can enjoy the freedom of exploring the surrounding area, with the convenience of maps, picnics, lifts, and suggestions provided.

Every day, we serve fresh, locally sourced seasonal food, accompanied by a selection of local wines and juices. We have three rooms available, consisting of two double rooms and a twin room. The twin room can easily be converted into a single room. One of the double rooms has an en suite bathroom, while the other double room and twin room share a spacious bathroom. Each room has its own separate secure access, with all three rooms opening onto the terrace.

Our terrace, along with the pool area, offers ideal spots for relaxation, whether you prefer a comfortable chair or a sun bed, and whether you seek shade or sunlight. Enjoying meals outdoors is also an option, as we provide several al fresco dining areas.

Previous guests have praised the diverse range of activities available within easy reach. From swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking to climbing, hiking, and canyoning, there is something for everyone. Additionally, we offer opportunities for cycling, mountain-biking, tennis, golf, horse-riding, trekking, and even skiing, with the slopes just over an hour away. If you prefer the beach, it is only a 35-minute drive.

Our location in Pyrénées-Orientales, the southernmost part of France, offers a multitude of choices. You can explore the Mediterranean coast with its pristine sandy beaches or discover hidden rocky coves. The dramatic Pyrenees and their gentle foothills provide stunning landscapes to explore. History buffs will appreciate the numerous historic sites, while cultural enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the vibrant city of Perpignan. If you seek tranquility, the peaceful countryside, adorned with vineyards and orchards, awaits you. Alternatively, Spain is just a short 30-minute drive away, offering even more opportunities for exploration.

Directions

To reach La Pantoufle Verte (the Green Slipper), follow these travel directions:

Take the Autoroute A9 and exit at Perpignan Sud. From there, head towards Thuir and continue following the signs towards Elne, passing through Thuir and Llupia. At the roundabout, take a right turn onto the D615 towards Terrats and Fourques. Once in Fourques, turn right onto the D2 towards Caixas and Montauriol. Proceed through Montauriol until you reach Les Hostalets. Take the first right up a steep hill and continue for 300 meters. The first house on the left is La Pantoufle Verte - welcome!
