Directions
If you are traveling by air, here are the available options:
- Easyjet offers flights from Gatwick to La Rochelle and from Bristol to La Rochelle.
- Flybe provides flights from Birmingham, Southampton, and Manchester to La Rochelle.
- Ryanair offers flights from Stansted to La Rochelle, Stansted to Nantes, Dublin to La Rochelle, and Dublin to Nantes.
If you are traveling by motorway (A83), follow these directions:
- Take Exit 7 and follow the route to La Rochelle on N137. After passing through St-Gemme-la-Plaine village, you will reach a roundabout. Take the left turn towards Fontenay on D949. Continue on this road, passing through various small villages until you reach Mouzeuil st Martin. Go past La Poste on your left and look for a turning to Le Langon. Head down that road for about 3km, crossing over a railway line.
- Upon entering Le Langon, you will reach a T junction with the Square opposite and Cafe de Sport on your left. Turn left here and continue until you reach a sharp left-hand bend. La Jolie Maison will be on your right, just off the bend, indicated by large green gates.
Alternatively, if you take Exit junction 8, go left at the roundabout and follow the road (D968) towards La Rochelle. When you reach a right-hand turning to Le Poire sur velluire (D68), take it. Follow the road through villages for approximately 8km until you enter Le Langon. At a tricky T-junction, turn left and follow the road around. La Jolie Maison will be on the left-hand side before you turn into a sharp right-hand bend, just before reaching the square.
