Welcome to Les Marmottes, a charming lodging located in Ornon Village, 38520 ORNON. With a size of 60 square meters, this accommodation has been awarded two ears by the lodgings of France.Les Marmottes can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The first bedroom features a double bed (140cm) for 2 people, while the second bedroom also has a double bed (140cm) for 2 people and two bunk beds (90cm). Additionally, there is the option to rent an additional bedroom if needed.
The lodging boasts a spacious living room (20sqm) with a television and VCR, which overlooks a small kitchen equipped with a toaster, coffee maker, gas stove, and microwave. The bathroom offers a bathtub, and there is a separate toilet. Guests also have access to a shared laundry room with a washer, dryer, and freezer.
Situated on the outskirts of the village, Les Marmottes is a character house that shares a terrace with the owner and another lodging that accommodates up to 5 people. For larger groups, it is possible to rent both lodgings, accommodating a total of 11 people, with a 10% discount during non-peak seasons. The property features a large 150-square-meter terrace with shading, a swimming pool, garden furniture, barbecue facilities, and stunning views of the valley and Col d'Ornon. Additionally, there are swings available on a small field located just 50 meters away.
Les Marmottes is located within the perimeter of the Parc des Ecrins, offering access to a variety of outdoor activities. The Col d'Ornon ski station is only a 5-minute drive away, while Alpe d'Huez can be reached in 35 minutes and Les Deux Alpes in 45 minutes. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the nearby valley with the appropriate permit, and there are swimming pools located 10km and 20km away.
Guests can also explore the numerous walking trails starting right from the house, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the beautiful surroundings.

Gîte du RDC
Bernard et son épouse sont sympathiques et chaleureux. Environs magnifiques. Belles randos à faire. Produits locaux excellents : Bergerie de la Lignarre (fromages, viande...) à La Pallud. Bon séjour d'une semaine en avril. Le gîte du dessus est plus lumineux.
Directions
2 kilometers prior to reaching Bourg d'Oisans, make a right turn. Proceed for 6 kilometers until you spot the hamlet known as "la Pallud." Continue for another 2 kilometers until you reach "Le Pont des Oulles." It is crucial not to cross this bridge! Approximately 20 meters before the bridge, make a right turn. Drive for 800 meters until you reach the hamlet called "la Poyat." Keep going for 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at the parking area of ORNON. Park your car here temporarily and take a short stroll of 30 meters down the alleyway. The house, distinguished by 7 Velux windows on the roof, can be found on the right side. Once you arrive, please go around the house, and Dominique and Bernard LEFEBVRE, the hosts, will be present to greet you.
