Description for B&B:
Welcome to the charming old farm of Louis and Bertha, located in the picturesque Drôme des Collines, just 45 minutes south of Lyon. Situated between Tain l'Hermitage and Valencia, our farm is nestled in the heart of the renowned Crozes-Hermitage vineyards and lush orchards. Whether you are looking for a peaceful night's stay or a longer retreat, we invite you to rediscover the tranquility and rustic charm of the countryside. For centuries, our traditional Provencal farmhouse has upheld a legacy of farming, evoking memories of hay, wine barrels, farm animals, and the tools used by Louis' grandfather. Today, our farm continues to thrive as a wine and fruit-producing business. Since 2001, we have been dedicated to preserving the authentic character of our family home. Only natural and traditional materials, such as wood, Rhone stones, lime, and clay, have been used in our restoration efforts.
Gather around our welcoming farm table or bask under the shade of the pine trees during summer days, and you will discover our love for renovation, decoration, woodworking, and pottery. As true enthusiasts of our region, we take pride in preparing traditional and regional cuisine using the fruits of our labor. Our garden vegetables are cultivated just like Louis' grandfather did, harvested only when fully ripe to ensure an explosion of flavors and culinary delights.
Here, you will not only feel at ease but also experience the soul and rich history that our farmhouse embodies. Allow the house to narrate its stories as you immerse yourself in its warm embrace.
