Description for B&B:
Welcome to La Tisserande, a charming historical stone guesthouse nestled in the heart of Brittany. With a deep appreciation for the past and a vision for the future, our whimsical and serene retreat is surrounded by woodlands, rivers, oceans, and ancient mountains.Whether you are a solo traveler, a couple, a family, or a group of friends, La Tisserande offers a perfect escape. Whether you seek to discover the myths and legends of this magical region, embark on a romantic getaway immersed in nature, or simply find peace and rejuvenation through forest-bathing, we can bring your wishes to life.
Dating back to the 17th century, our flax-farm and linen-weavery serve as the perfect hub for exploring the region in all four directions. But your vacation here has a purpose beyond personal experience. 100% of the proceeds from La Tisserande support La SOURCE Center for Research & Creation, the world's first international and interdisciplinary research center dedicated to Love-Studies. By investing in your adventure, you contribute to ongoing research and become a part of our "raison d'être".
At La Tisserande, we believe in the power of imagination. Beyond every tree, every river, and every moment lies a universe of secret beauty waiting to be discovered. Our space is also in harmony with the earth, as we embrace an ecological lifestyle and strive to learn more about our shared home, our marvelous planet.
Our team consists of four passionate coordinators, along with our adorable mini-dog, three hens, a duck, and eleven goats. We are here to serve you, the project, and the world.
Renovated in 2012 using ecological and natural materials, our Maison d'Hôtes de Charme offers a luxurious experience. We provide high-quality hotel linens from Linvosges, washed with organic, body-safe, and earth-safe detergents. Our high-end memory foam mattresses ensure a restful sleep, so you wake up relaxed and energized for the day ahead. We also offer customized and locally sourced organic, body-safe, and earth-safe soap, body wash, and shampoo.
Choose from our range of accommodations, including a duplex suite for three people, a duplex suite for four people, a double bedroom suite for four people, and an independent fully equipped cottage for two to three people. All our rooms grant open access to the heated pool.
We are delighted to share our garden with you. It's a spacious and slightly wild space, filled with sweet and peaceful corners perfect for picnicking or basking in the sun. As a traditional French "corps de ferme," our property is designed with a central meeting place amidst the stone buildings.
Our Hearth, combining Earth and Heart, is available for you to use. Twice a week, we offer Table d'Hôtes, and during the summer, we often cook directly with wood fire in our summer kitchen. Apart from this, feel free to utilize this space to prepare your own meals.
