Description for B&B:

Located just 10 minutes from the renowned painters' city of Pont-Aven and 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches, the Kerbeleg B&B is a stunning 15th century stone house nestled in a tranquil setting, surrounded by a sprawling 2-hectare park.

Originally built upon the stones of a castle from the 15th century, this historic establishment has undergone successive expansions and renovations, transforming it from a manor house to a working farm, and now into a charming B&B. Your knowledgeable hostess, who has a deep appreciation for history, can satisfy your thirst for knowledge about the place. Each room is equipped with a book that details recent research on the site's past through Breton history.

Two spacious and comfortable bedrooms have been lovingly restored to reflect the house's spirit from six decades ago when it was still in the family. With unobstructed views of the park and a southern orientation, these rooms offer a serene and picturesque experience.

The owner, with the assistance of skilled local craftsmen, has redesigned Kerbeleg as a bed and breakfast, paying careful attention to the choice of materials and the reimagined layouts. The farmhouse is centered around the cathedral lounge, complete with a grand fireplace, providing the ideal space for relaxation and reading. Adjacent to the lounge is the billiard room, a spacious living area featuring stone floors and exposed beams.

A majestic stone staircase leads from the billiard room to the two cozy bedrooms, each with its own shower room. The separate WC is conveniently located on the landing.

One of the bedrooms, named BIRDS, boasts a large original granite fireplace and includes a small adjoining room for two children. The other bedroom, Les OURS, offers a breathtaking view of the park. Additionally, the former bread oven of the estate, La Maison à PAIN, will soon be transformed into a charming room for a couple, complete with a mezzanine that can accommodate one or two additional children.

On one side of the living room, behind another impressive fireplace, you will find the kitchen, perfect for indulging in gourmet treats. Modernized and inviting, it features a large solid wood monastery table for breakfast.

For leisure activities, the other side of the living room houses a leisure room and library, complete with a table football and card table. On less sunny days or after a long hike, you can unwind in this peaceful space.

When the weather is favorable, meals can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the park. Early risers may even catch a glimpse of deer, pheasants, and other wildlife at dawn.

Situated less than 10 minutes from the motorway, Kerbeleg offers easy access to peaceful and picturesque countryside. It is conveniently located near many cultural and tourist attractions in the region, such as Lorient (known for its sailing), Quimper, Concarneau with its charming old town, various small ports, the abers of South Finistère, and the captivating granite sites. Kerbeleg serves as the perfect hub for a multitude of activities during your stay.
