Karen and Richard, your gracious hosts, welcome you to their recently renovated Bed & Breakfast, nestled in the beautiful gardens, originally home to the bread oven house.Each of the spacious rooms, tastefully decorated with original stone walls and fireplace features, offers a private entrance. Complete with ensuite shower rooms, towels, bathroom products, slippers, hairdryers, English television, Wifi, armchairs, and tea making facilities, every comfort has been thoughtfully provided.
Outside, a terrace awaits with tables, chairs, and sun loungers for guests to enjoy, alongside a private heated swimming pool. As you approach through the private drive, lined with lavender bushes, the electric gates open to reveal a tranquil oasis, perfect for unwinding in the peaceful gardens.
For a truly memorable experience, Karen is delighted to prepare a private candlelit dinner for you, either in her elegant dining room or on the terrace.
Conveniently located just five minutes from junction 34 of the A10 autoroute, Le Four a Pain provides easy access to explore the region's stunning architecture and attractions. The beautiful beaches of Royan, La Rochelle, Ile dOrleron, and Ile de Re are a mere 45-minute drive away, while the vineyards of Cognac and Saintes can be reached in just 15 minutes.
In Saint-Jean-dAngely itself, you'll discover a wealth of cafes, markets, a plan deau offering kayaking, pedalos, and fishing, as well as the expansive Atlantys swimming pool. Karen and Richard are dedicated to ensuring your stay is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Un trs trs bon week-end
Venu au Four pain en famille, nous avons pass une trs bonne journe, les propritaires sont trs accueillants et trs aimables.
Les chambres sont vraiment magnifiques et tout est anticip pour palier aux besoins des clients.
Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir galement goter un repas d'htes simple mais sincrement excellent.

Directions
To reach our house, begin by taking the A10 motorway and exiting at junction 34. Follow the bypass that is signposted for Poitiers - Angoulème. When you reach the 1st roundabout, continue in the direction of Poitiers - Angoulème. Proceed to the 2nd roundabout and continue straight ahead. At the 3rd roundabout, take the third exit which leads to Courcelles - CD 218. Stay on this road for precisely 2 kilometers. As you enter the village of Courcelles, you will notice a black-gated entrance on the left. Turn into this entrance, and our house is located at the end of the private drive.
