Welcome to "Le Val du Roy" Bed and Breakfast in Joinville. We offer four uniquely decorated guest rooms that transport you to an authentic and nostalgic atmosphere. Each room is adorned with canopy beds, antique furniture, traditional cupboards from Lorraine, and alcoves, complemented by beautiful beams, wood paneling, and old floors. The rooms are filled with ancient trinkets that give a sense of flea market charm, as if frozen in time since the seventeenth century. Despite the vintage ambiance, we have ensured modern comforts with glass basins and modern showers, while still maintaining the original authenticity and charm of the place.Three of the rooms have ensuite shower rooms, separated by screens, providing a spacious and private area for each guest. The "Antoinette de Bourbon" room, featuring a canopy bed and alcove, offers a large separate bathroom with an antique bathtub and shower, accommodating up to three people. The "Claude de Lorraine" room boasts an old double bed, an antique wardrobe, and various decorative elements such as a baby-basket and old sewing machine. It also includes a shower, WC, and lavabo. The "Jean de Joinville" room offers two old corner beds, an antique wardrobe, double sink, shower, and toilet. Lastly, the spacious "Mary Stuart" room includes a double canopy bed with electric bedding, a sofa-bed for two additional guests, a dressing table, wardrobe, and a bathroom located on the mezzanine level. Each room is equipped with a TV for your entertainment.
We provide free WIFI access throughout the house and you are welcome to use our fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, ceramic hob, and oven. Additionally, you can relax in our cozy lounge area, also furnished with a TV. Enjoy direct access to our grand, old, and enclosed garden, which can be accessed independently. To ensure your privacy, we offer a separate entrance so you can come and go as you please.

Ancienne maison très romantique, chambres décorées avec le goût d'antan. On se croirait dans un autre temps. Petit-déjeuner parfait, accueil très chaleureux. Jolie décoration partout. A recommander!

Joinville is situated in the Haute-Marne department, between the cities of Dijon and Reims, Nancy and Troyes, or Chaumont and Saint-Dizier. Upon reaching Joinville, proceed towards Wassy and locate the Hotel du Nord on the main road. After a short distance, you will notice the B&B "Le Val du Roy" on your left at 11 Rue Camille Gillet, concealed behind cast iron grates at the bottom of the garden. You can park your car on the sidewalk, and the owners will provide instructions on where to park for unloading luggage at 22 rue du Valleroy.
