The accommodation at La Gigude is comfortable and straightforward. It consists of a spacious living room on the ground floor with an open fireplace and a fully equipped American-style kitchen. On the first floor, there is a bathroom and three bedrooms that can accommodate a total of 9 people. Two of the rooms have a double and single bed, while the third room has three single beds. Additionally, there are two extra bedrooms and another bathroom on the third floor, which can accommodate up to 6 people.La Gigude is not only a place to stay but also a working farm. It is home to 30 goats and 60 sheep, and the milk produced by them is transformed into delicious cheese that is sold at local markets. Visitors are welcome to come and experience the farm, taste the cheese, and even purchase some.
Located near the intersection of the GR36 and the Sentier Cathare, the two main footpaths that cross the Hautes Corbieres, La Gigude enjoys a prime geographic position. Surrounded by stunning countryside and offering magnificent views, it guarantees a peaceful and unforgettable holiday experience.

Directions
To get to Couiza from Carcassonne, take the D118 road. Once on the D118, make a left turn onto the D613, and then take a right onto the D14 road, which will take you through Rennes les Bains, Bugurach, Cubieres, and Soulatge. After passing through the village, make a right turn following the sign for "La Gigude" and continue for 1.5 kilometers.
If you are coming from Perpignan, take the D117 road and continue past the airport until you reach Estagel and Maury. At Maury, make a right turn onto the D19 road. Then, at Cucugnan, make a left turn onto the D14 road. Just before reaching Soulatge, take a left turn indicated by the sign for "La Gigude" and after that, make a right turn for 1.5 kilometers.
