Situated between Gard and Hérault, in close proximity to the charming medieval town of Sommières, the Gîte des Bois offers two independent cottages for 2 to 4 people. Nestled in a serene park of lush green oaks, filled with the scents of the garrigue, this stunning property with a swimming pool provides a tranquil and rejuvenating environment away from the village.

The "Bleuette" cottage is housed in a traditional dry stone mazet. This single-level, unobstructed cottage is air-conditioned and tastefully decorated, boasting a spacious fenced terrace facing the park. It features a separate bedroom with a comfortable 160-sized bed, a sofa bed in the living room, and a well-equipped open kitchen (including a dishwasher, washing machine, and other small household appliances). Additional amenities include air-conditioning, internet access, and a charming ambiance.

The Marion cottage is a cozy, ground-level studio nestled under the shade of oak trees. Equipped with air-conditioning, it offers a large 160-sized bed, a well-appointed kitchenette, a living room with a sofa (capable of accommodating 2 additional guests), and a TV. The cottage also features a pleasant bathroom with a washing machine and a spacious terrace overlooking the leafy, wooded area. Amenities such as air-conditioning and internet access are included.

Guests have access to a real swimming pool, the park grounds, a barbecue area, and a boulodrome. Parking is available under the carport within the secure property. Pets are welcome with an additional fee. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we ensure a thorough cleaning upon departure.

Directions

Take the freeway A9 and exit at Lunel. At the roundabout, take the left turn towards Sommières (D34). In Sommières, continue straight at the first roundabout and take the left turn at the second roundabout towards Saint de Tréviers, following the signs for Galargues (D22 then D1). Continue straight towards Galargues, leaving the village and passing the cooperative cellar. The Shelter of Wood is located 100m to the left after the cellar, it has a green metallic gate and a wall made of dry stones. If you encounter any problems or delays, feel free to give us a call.
