My husband, a nurse, and I, a heavy vehicle driver, embarked on an ambitious project to renovate a 1929 mansion and transform it into a luxurious bed and breakfast. Our goal was to merge modern comforts with the mansion's historic charm. Situated in the heart of Livradois Forez in Auvergne, we have created a tranquil haven featuring two guest rooms, eight campsites, a treehouse, and two chalets nestled amidst the enchanting forest.Our property spans across a lush 6,400 m² wooded park, offering an idyllic living environment in the Thiers mountains. Just 10 km away from Thiers, the renowned capital of cutlery, and conveniently located 50 km from Clermont-Ferrand and Vichy, our guests will have the opportunity to explore the beauty of our region.
We have lovingly named our house "E lu chantauziau," which translates to "birdsong" in Auvergnat. The park boasts natural springs and attracts a diverse array of wildlife, often gracing us with their presence. Additionally, we have our own beloved pets.
To enhance your stay, we provide a library filled with books, various board games, a charming henhouse, a flourishing garden, and numerous spaces dedicated to relaxation and outdoor leisure.
