Once abandoned by its inhabitants in the early 20th century, we have lovingly restored and transformed the remaining habitable buildings into charming and comfortable 'gîtes' (self-catering houses) of exceptional quality, boasting 3 and 4-star ratings.Nestled between the picturesque landscapes of Provence and the majestic Alps, 'Le Vieil Aiglun' enjoys a tranquil and serene ambiance, while still being conveniently close to a small town that provides all necessary amenities, including shops and restaurants. Our esteemed guests have exclusive access to a generously sized swimming pool measuring 13 x 6 sqm, as well as a sprawling garden adorned with captivating views of the surrounding fields and the illuminated ancient Roman church at night. "Le Vieil Aiglun" is situated close to the town of Digne-les-Bains, just 4 km away from the "Route Napoléon" and 20 km from the A-51 motorway, connecting Aix-en-Provence to Sisteron and Gap. It takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes by car to reach "Le Vieil Aiglun" from Marseille Airport, while Nice Airport is a 2 hour 30 minute drive away. Additionally, the Aix-TGV train station is conveniently located within a 1 hour 15 minute drive from "Le Vieil Aiglun".
