Description for B&B:
St. Jeanvrin is a quaint town located in the southern region of Bourges, Cher, which holds significant meaning for the family. The name of the house pays tribute to their ancestral roots. The term "Jeanvrin" is a local variation of the name "Januarius." St. Januarius, a revered figure in Naples, was a bishop and martyr who lived during the 4th century. He is among the fifty patrons chosen by the people of Naples. Throughout history, he has been known to provide protection against various calamities, including the plague in 1497, 1631, 1698, and 1767, as well as the potential destruction caused by the eruption of Vesuvius in 1779.
One remarkable aspect of St. Januarius is the miracle of his blood. For over 600 years, his solid blood transforms into a liquid state three times annually within the confines of the Cathedral of Naples.
