Description for Gite
This charming independent gite is situated within a family property in the picturesque village of Sigogne. Located in the heart of the renowned cognac fins bois vineyards, this traditional Charentaise cottage offers a unique and authentic experience.The gite is spread over two floors. On the first floor, you will find a cozy living room with a corner kitchen, as well as a comfortable bedroom with one double bed (140cm) and one single bed (90cm). There is also a separate toilet and a shower room.
The second floor features two more bedrooms - one with a double bed (140cm) and a single bed (90cm), and another with two single beds (90cm). There is also a convenient shower room with a toilet.
Outside, guests can enjoy a lovely terrace and a private garden. There is ample parking space available for vehicles. The gite also offers a private, unsupervised swimming pool that is shared with the property owners.
During the high and very high season, all charges are included in the rates. For the remaining seasons, the rates include 8 KWh of electricity, unlimited domestic water usage, and gas for the cooker.
Please note that unless specified otherwise in the rental contract, the minimum stay is one week, with arrivals on Saturdays after 4 pm and departures on the following Saturdays before 10 am.
The gite is well-equipped with gas central heating for comfort during colder months. Inside, you will find convenient amenities such as a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, television, and DVD player. Directions
To travel from Jarnac to Rouillac, follow these directions. When you reach Sigogne, make a right turn towards Foussignac. Keep going until you reach Rue de l’Ancienne Gare and take a left turn (this will be the last left before leaving the village). Follow the road and turn left onto Rue des Ecoles, making sure to follow the one-way system around the houses. Finally, take the second alley on the right and look for the sign indicating Gites de France. For further reference, consult Carte Michelin: 324 Pli: J5.
