Description for Gite

Discover the luxurious and family-friendly Gite of Noalhac, located at the entrance of the Auvergne Volcano Park in a peaceful and green environment. Only 2 kilometers away from downtown Aurillac, this charming and comfortable accommodation is also accessible for handicapped individuals.

The Gite of Noalhac is an independent house fully equipped with all the amenities you need. It is nestled in a private wooded park, providing a tranquil and scenic setting. The Gite has a capacity for 5 persons, making it ideal for 2 couples and 3 children. If you have different group combinations, please contact us for further information.

Inside the Gite, you will find a cozy living room with a kitchen corner and a large chimney featuring a window wood stove. There is also a bedroom with a mezzanine and a bathroom with toilet. Additionally, there is a separate room with a shower-room and toilet on the first floor. The integrated kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, vitro-ceramic cooking plate, oven, dishwashing machine, microwave oven, and a robot. For your convenience, there is also a washing machine, towel-dryers, color satellite T.V., and Hi-Fi.

Outside, you can enjoy the terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, and children's play area. The Gite provides access to a private park where you can relax and unwind. Baby equipment such as a bed and high chair are available upon request, free of charge. Linens and towels can also be provided upon request, and cleaning services are available during or at the end of your stay at an additional cost.

Our staff is fluent in English, German, and Spanish, ensuring that communication is never a barrier during your stay.

The Gite of Noalhac is conveniently located near Aurillac Airport, only a 10-minute drive away. It is also easily accessible from other major airports such as Clermont-Ferrand (1 hour 45 minutes), Rodez (1 hour), and Toulouse (2 hours 45 minutes). The Aurillac Train Station offers car rental services from AVIS, Hertz, Europcar, and ADA. There is a private parking area in front of the Gite for your convenience.

With a large view and a peaceful environment, the Gite of Noalhac offers a calm and silent retreat. Cell phone coverage is available, and you can enjoy satellite T.V. and Hi-Fi during your stay. Well-behaved and small pets are accepted, with the exception of the bedroom.

Tourism information and assistance are provided, including guided tours or walks upon request.

Please note that during the week of the International Street Theatre Festival in Aurillac, the Gite of Noalhac is never available. However, if the Gite is unavailable, we also offer guest rooms with private bathrooms or shower-rooms. The guest rooms include one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, another bedroom with a double bed, and a third bedroom that can be rented in addition to another room. For availability and pricing of the guest rooms, please contact us with details such as the desired room, period, number of people, and duration. Rates for the guest rooms range from 105 to 150 Euros per night, including breakfast and tourist taxes.

Excellent séjour passé au gîte du fournil, notre hôte a été d'une grande chaleur humaine, générosité, bienveillance. Il a même accepté de mettre mes chevaux en pâture devant le gîte (le top). Chambres et gîte impeccables, très bien restaurés. Notre hôte est passionné et cela se ressent.
Petit déjeuners copieux dans une magnifique pièce.
Séjour excellent au sein de cet établissement.

Directions

To reach the Gite, start by entering the center of AURILLAC. From there, follow the road signs for Puy Mary Vallée de Jordanne, Saint Simon, or camping Ombrade. The Gite is located in the direction of the mountains. You will need to pass by the entrance of camping de lOmbrade and continue on the road, crossing the Jordanne River until you reach the end of Aurillac city road sign. On your left, you will see a small river fall. Take the road on your right and climb the hill. After approximately 200m, you will see a sign indicating NOALHAC. Follow that sign to enter the park.
