Marie-Pierre and Jean-Yves invite you to stay at their charming cottage called "The Dolphins" (3 stars) in Matignon, BRITAIN (22550). This fully renovated cottage can accommodate 2 to 5 people and is conveniently located just 4 kms away from the beautiful seaside resort of St Cast le Guildo."The Dolphins" offers a comfortable stay with amenities such as a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, TV, radio/CD player, DVD player, and TNT (French digital television). The cottage is divided into two floors, with the first floor featuring a kitchen and a cozy living room, as well as a bathroom and a separate toilet. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with three single beds. Another bathroom with toilet is also available on this floor.
The cottage boasts a fenced garden at the back, complete with a private garden, terrace, shelter, garden furniture, two sun loungers, and a barbecue. There is also a front yard where you can park your car securely. Within walking distance from the cottage, you will find various shops such as supermarkets (Super U, Lidl), a bakery, and other small shops. There are also clothing, shoe, craft, and flower stores, as well as restaurants including a creperie and a pizzeria. Additionally, there are tourist attractions nearby.
"The Dolphins" is the perfect base for exploring the charming city of Saint Cast Le Guildo, which is just 4 kms away. This city offers seven beautiful sandy beaches, a marina, and stunning rocky cliffs. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the medieval town of Dinan or the famous corsair town of Saint Malo, both within a 30 km radius. Other nearby attractions include Dinard (22 kms), Cap Frehel (15 kms), Erquy, Pleneuf, Lancieux, and Saint Jacut, all within 20 kms. For a day trip, you can visit the iconic Mont Saint Michel (70 kms) or the picturesque island of Brehat in Paimpol (1 hour drive).
There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the area, such as hiking on the GR34 trail just 2.5 kms away, golfing, horse riding, watching movies at the cinema, going to the disco or casino, engaging in water sports, fishing, playing tennis, and mountain biking. If you prefer swimming in heated sea water, head to St. Cast. For an educational experience, visit the large Aquarium of Saint Malo (30 minutes away) or have fun at the amusement park "PARC COBAC Lanhélin" (45 minutes away). Other attractions include the pirate maze (20 minutes away) and the Boubansais zoo (45 minutes away).
"The Dolphins" can be rented by the night, weekend, or week. Prices for 2010 are as follows: 250€ per week in March, April, October, November, and December; 310€ per week in May, June, and September; 490€ per week in July and August. A reservation deposit of 25% is required, and checks are accepted. Baby equipment such as a high chair, bath, and bed can be provided upon request. Dogs are also allowed with prior arrangement.
