Description:
Description for Gite
Ginouillac is situated on the border of the stunning Périgord and Quercy regions, making it the perfect base to explore these two areas. Nestled within the peaceful and tranquil Natural Regional Park of Causses of Quercy, Ginouillac offers a haven of serenity. This village, located on the outskirts of town, is undergoing a remarkable transformation. The first house has been fully prepared to welcome guests. Originally built in the 19th century as a traditional Quercy barn, it was once used to store grain after the threshing process, powered by a steam engine. Now, this "cell grains" has been renovated into a charming country cottage, accommodating up to 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). The cottage has been awarded a 3-ear rating (comfort) by Gites de France.
One of the highlights of Ginouillac is the grand ecological swimming pool, measuring 6x12m, which offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there is a designated shallow area for children to safely enjoy the water. A children's playground with swings, slides, and a sandbox has been thoughtfully installed near the cottage. Guests can also make use of the BBQ, garden furniture, and summer kitchen for outdoor dining and relaxation. For those who need to stay connected, wireless internet is available.
Come and experience the beauty and tranquility of Ginouillac, where history meets modern comfort and natural wonders await your exploration.
