This house was constructed in the mid-1600s and exudes an abundance of character and charm. It boasts exposed oak beams, window seats, an inglenook fireplace, and flagged floors. Within, there is a cozy TV lounge featuring an open log fire that creates a warm and inviting ambiance. Additionally, we offer a diverse selection of books and games in the sitting room, where guests are welcome to play the piano and other musical instruments. Each of our comfortable bedrooms showcases an array of period features, a small en-suite, and tasteful furnishings that pay homage to the time period.

For relaxation, our expansive riverside garden provides a sanctuary for wildlife, including regular visits from the kingfisher. Guests can also partake in private trout fishing, and children can enjoy our small play area complete with a swing, trampoline, garden games, and boating (subject to river conditions).

Evening meals are available from Monday to Thursday, featuring fresh local ingredients. Indulge in traditional favorites like Roast Beef and Yorkshires, and savor Beryl's special bread and butter pudding. Our full English breakfast will provide you with the perfect start to your day. All meals are shared around our large oak table, offering a delightful opportunity to exchange stories and experiences with fellow guests.
