Les chambres d'hôtes Au Vieux Four à Pain méritent le détour! Un cadre magnifique, une maison splendide, confortable et très propre, des gens très sympathiques et accueillants et tout cela avec un tarif correct. Une très bonne adresse à transmettre!

Directions
To find our place using the Grenoble route, follow the freeway/motorway towards Chambéry. Take the Touvet exit and turn right towards Goncelin. Continue towards the village of Allevard. At the first roundabout on the way to Allevard, take the third exit towards Allevard. Once in Allevard, you will pass by the blue casino on your right and the gendarmerie on your left. At the second roundabout, take the second exit towards La Chapelle du Bard (there will be a Citroën garage on your left). After driving for 2 km, you will see the Couturier sawmill. Just past the sawmill, there is a fork in the road; take the right fork towards Beauvoir. Drive for 200 meters and then turn right towards Le Buisson (look for a sign that says "Miel for sale"). At the top of the hill, you will come to a small square; cross the square and begin going down the hill on the other side. Our driveway is located 50 meters past the square on your right.
If you choose the Chambéry route, head towards Grenoble on the freeway. Exit at Pontcharra and turn right. You will be in the municipality of Barraux, in "La Gache." Be cautious of frequent speed checks in this area. At the three-colored traffic light, turn right towards Pontcharra. Cross the Isère river and then take a right at the roundabout towards Rochette. Drive through the industrial zone and continue in the direction of La Rochette, Allevard. At the next roundabout, take the first right towards La Rochette, Allevard. At another roundabout, take the first right again, passing the barracks of the fire brigade. Drive for 12 km through the Gorges de La Rochette until you reach Détrier. At the roundabout, take the first right towards Allevard (Gorges d'Allevard). After 1.5 km (after the second bridge on "Bréda" river), turn left towards La Chapelle du Bard. Drive up to the village and cross it in the direction of Allevard. After another 1.5 km, you will reach the Couturier sawmill. Turn left towards Beauvoir. Drive for 200 meters and then turn right towards Le Buisson (look for a sign that says "Sale of Honey"). You will arrive at the square of the hamlet. Take the small street opposite the square and turn right at the second dead end.
