Located in the eastern end of the Valley of the Kings, our charming guest house is conveniently situated just a short distance from Orleans and Sancerre. Positioned on the banks of the Loire River, between the bone china factory in Gien and the famous canal bridge in Briare, our property offers a tranquil retreat for your stay. With 2 rooms, 2 suites, and 2 gites available, our separate guest house is surrounded by a delightful park, adorned with ancient trees, that leads down to the Loire. Originally built in the 18th century and fully renovated in 2001, our magnificent old manor house boasts a "Mansart" style architecture and is located in close proximity to our residence. Enjoy complete freedom with our independent car park and entrances. Take advantage of our 7-acre park, featuring beautiful flowers, deckchairs, tables, and outdoor games for children. Tennis and table tennis facilities are also available for our guests' enjoyment. For nature enthusiasts, the Loire river is accessible via a private path, offering a starting point for scenic walks or bike rides. We provide additional services such as baby-sitting, bike rentals, and are happy to welcome animals with certain restrictions. Please note that our property is a non-smoking establishment. The price per night for a room starts from 64 Euros for 2 people, including breakfast (with a supplement of €10 for one night stays). Located on the ground floor of a charming Loire Valley house, this small and cozy apartment (40m2) is perfect for a maximum of 2 guests. With its own private entrance and three windows that provide lovely views of the park to the east and south, this accommodation offers a comfortable and peaceful stay.The apartment features a bedroom with a double bed (140x190cm) and a tastefully furnished living room with a television, showcasing beautiful Louis-Philippe antique furniture. Additionally, there is a separate single bed (90x190cm) for those needing their own sleeping space. The en-suite shower room and toilet may be small, but it ensures privacy for guests.
For your convenience, there is a well-equipped kitchen corner with a fridge, gas cooker, microwave, and all necessary dishes and utensils. Free WiFi is provided, and guests have access to a private garden complete with a barbecue, table, chairs, and deck chairs.
Direct access to the Loire River can be found via a private lane, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. Furthermore, a shared fitness room is available upon request. If needed, laundry facilities with soap included can also be arranged for a small fee.
