Description for Gite

We offer a variety of accommodations on our property, including two gîtes and a large guestroom.

"Gite La Maison" is a beautifully designed loft-style house located in a converted old barn. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, providing ample space for your comfort. The dining area with an open kitchen and a cozy sitting area with a TV (featuring Dutch and some English channels) are perfect for relaxation. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable box spring beds, which can be combined or separated as needed. Additionally, a third single bed can be added upon request. Outside, you can enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty on the cozy terrace.

For those seeking a picturesque view, "Le Chalet" is the ideal choice. This cozy cottage offers a private terrace overlooking the valley. The gîte includes a kitchenette, bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet, a sleeping area with a comfortable double box spring bed, and a sitting area with a sofa bed. Moreover, a unique feature of this accommodation is the tree house accessible via a walkway from the terrace. Inside the tree house, there is a bunk bed specifically designed for children, and a camera is installed for your peace of mind, allowing you to monitor your children through a monitor in the gîte.

"The Doré" is a romantic and spacious room perfect for couples or families. It features a comfortable double bed and two single beds for children. The shower room includes a walk-in shower, and there is a separate toilet for your convenience. In the morning, we serve a delightful breakfast consisting of pastries, baguette, fruit salad, fresh fruit juice, and homemade specialties. If you prefer not to cook yourself, you also have the option to dine with the owners and potentially other guests.

Directions

By car, Lauzerte can be found between Cahors (A20) and Agen. The distance from Brussels is approximately 900 km, while Amsterdam is about 1,100 km away. In Paris, head towards Bordeaux, then continue towards Orleans and Vierzon. Take the exit towards the A20, which leads to Toulouse. On the A20, take exit number 58 (Cahors South) and then follow the N20 towards Cahors. Just before reaching Cahors, take the D653 towards Montcuq, and continue on the D653 until you reach Lauzerte. At the junction with the D2, turn towards Montaigu de Quercy. After around 7 km, you can take a left turn towards Toufailles on the D60. After another 2 km, you will reach the intersection of Pont Fourcat. Bounetis Bas is located at the top of the intersection (follow the signs). For GPS users, enter "Lauzerte" as the city, "Pont Fourcat" as the street, and leave the house number blank.

If traveling by TGV, Lauzerte can also be accessed via Agen, which is 40 km away from Lauzerte.

For those using plane transportation, the airports of Toulouse and Bergerac are both approximately a one-hour drive from Bounetis Bas. It is recommended to book a car from your home as it is more cost-effective and convenient. Toulouse offers connections with Zaventem (Brussels Airline & EasyJet), Amsterdam (KLM), and Lille (EasyJet & Hop!). Bergerac offers connections with Rotterdam (Transavia) and Charleroi (Ryanair).
