Welcome to our holiday home in the heart of the Médoc, surrounded by large vineyards, the ocean, and the estuary. Just 10 minutes away, you will find the magnificent beaches of Montalivet, while the city of Lesparre-Médoc and its shops are only 5 minutes away. Situated in the beautiful village of Vendays, our Landaise-style house offers a high-quality accommodation experience. The property is set on a private wooded grounds of 2300 m2, complete with a covered outdoor barbecue. The house has been completely renovated and redecorated with taste and passion in winter 2016.
This holiday home is ideally located close to the world-famous vineyards of the Médoc. It is situated in the town of Queyrac, but next to the Vendays Montalivet forest. The residential area of Les OURMES, where the house is located, is only 3 minutes away from the charming village of Vendays. The grandiose and endless natural beaches of Montalivet are just a 10-minute drive away, while the city of Lesparre-Médoc and its shops are only 5 minutes away. The village of Hourtin and its largest freshwater lake in Europe, which adjoins the ocean, can be reached in 20 minutes. Other nearby attractions include Soulac (20 minutes), Lacanau Ocean (50 minutes), and Bordeaux (1 hour 25 minutes).
Our house features a fully equipped kitchen with French windows on the ground floor, a spacious living room with French doors leading to the barbecue area, a bar overlooking the kitchen, a dining area that can accommodate 10 guests, and a large bedroom with a French window on the ground floor. The entrance has a separate toilet, and there is a spacious shared bathroom with another bedroom that overlooks the forest. The ground floor also includes a master bedroom with closets, a shower room, and a toilet. Upstairs, there is an independent mezzanine with two adult beds (190X90) and its own shower and toilet. An additional bed for a child is also available.
We prefer to rent our house to responsible individuals who are non-smokers and have a respect for the interior and furnishings. The kitchen is well-equipped to satisfy all your cooking needs, and quality glassware is provided for wine lovers. The house is available for rent throughout the year, including the end of year holidays. Linen (towels and sheets) is included in the rental, but beach towels are not provided.
Please note that the rental is for a maximum of 8 people and does not allow pets. A security deposit of 1000 euros is required (in the form of an uncashed check). The deposit will be returned at the end of your stay, after a departure inspection. It is advisable to check your insurance coverage. We kindly ask that you do not smoke in the house and treat the furniture and decor with respect.
