Afterwards, relish in the tranquility of the surroundings while sitting on the bench by the peaceful water feature.
Le Clos Xavianne is conveniently located on the renowned "Paths and Memories of War 14-18" route, near prominent attractions such as the Tank Flesquières, Cambrai (a town celebrated for its art and history, Juventus Festival, Feudal, and the August 15th Celebrations), Vaucelles Abbey, Arras, the Matisse Museum in Le Cateau, the Mining Museum of Lewarde, Peronne Museum, and the historic Battlefields of the Somme. Directions
To reach our location from Calais, follow the A26 towards Reims and take exit 9. Then, turn left onto the D917 towards Peronne. Continue on this road until you reach 1500, where you will turn right onto the D56. Follow this road until you reach Villers Plouich. Once you reach the front of the church, make a left turn onto the D89 and continue until you reach Ribécourt Tower. After passing the church at the crossroads, turn left onto the D29 towards Marcoing. Our destination will be on the right side, approximately 200m ahead.
If you are coming from Lille, take the A1 towards Paris and then switch to the A26 towards Reims. Take exit 9, following the same directions as mentioned above.
From Reims, take the A26 towards Calais and exit at 9, following the same directions as mentioned above.
For those traveling from Valenciennes or Brussels, take the A2 towards Paris and exit at 14. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards Bapaume (N30). Continue on this road until you cross Fontaine Notre Dame. At the last intersection, turn left onto the D142 and continue until you reach Cantaing Scheldt. Then, turn right onto the D92 and continue until you reach Flesquières. At the first crossroads, turn left onto the D89 and continue until you reach Ribécourt Tower. At the crossroads, make a right turn onto the D29 towards Marcoing. Our destination will be on the right side, approximately 200m ahead.
