Gîte La Tonnelle is a cozy countryside retreat, offering complete privacy as it is attached to the owners' unused house. Situated in the delightful town of SAINT SATURNIN LES APT in the Vaucluse region of Provence, it is nestled in the heart of the picturesque Luberon. This charming cottage can comfortably accommodate two people, with the possibility of hosting a baby as well (baby equipment available upon request, at no additional cost). The cottage features a generous 160 cm bed, with complimentary bed sheets provided and the bed made prior to your arrival. Stay connected with the complimentary WI-FI access. Welcome to our charming small country cottage in the heart of the beautiful Luberon region in Provence. Nestled in the delightful town of Saint Saturnin les Apt, this independent cottage offers a tranquil and peaceful retreat for two people, with the possibility of accommodating a baby upon request (baby equipment provided free of charge).The cottage boasts a range of amenities for your comfort and convenience. The well-equipped kitchen features a 4-burner gas stove and oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, vacuum cleaner, and a flat-screen TV. A complete kitchen set is also provided.
The bedroom offers a cozy space with a comfortable 160 cm bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a small chest of drawers, an armchair, and a storage cupboard. The bed will be made for you upon your arrival.
For relaxation, there is a small room furnished with two Scandinavian armchairs, a coffee table, and a small storage unit with decorative elements. A stand fan is also available for your comfort.
The bathroom features a shower and basin, while a separate WC offers privacy and convenience.
Outside, you can enjoy the outdoor terrace with garden furniture, sheltered under a charming green arbor and overlooking the vineyards. A barbecue is also available for your use, and you can relax on the provided sun loungers. A carport is provided for your convenience.
The cottage is located just 1.5 km from the village, where you can find all necessary shops. Additionally, the area offers numerous hiking and biking trails, allowing you to explore the picturesque surroundings. There are also many tourist sites nearby to discover and enjoy.
Prices for 2022 are as follows:
- May: 296 euros per week
- June-September: 316 euros per week
- July-August: 376 euros per week
The tourist tax is included in the price. A deposit of 100 euros is required upon arrival and will be refunded on the day of departure if no damages are observed.
Additional services are available upon request, including towel rental (5 euros per person) and compulsory end-of-stay cleaning (40 euros).
Please note that pets are not allowed. Deposit refunds in case of COVID-19 are subject to conditions specified by the owner.

DIRECTIONS TO GITE LA TONNELLE:
To reach Gite La Tonnelle, follow these directions:
1. Take exit number 24 (Châteaurenard, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Apt) from the A7 motorway.
2. Turn right towards (Airport, Avignon, Apt, and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue).
3. At the roundabout, turn left onto the D900 towards (Caumont, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Apt).
4. Stay on the D900 and at the next roundabout, take the direction of (Dignes, Coustellet, Apt, Gordes).
Once you reach Coustellet, there are two possible itineraries to arrive at Gite La Tonnelle:
Itinerary 1: Route d'Apt
1. At Coustellet, continue straight on the D900 towards Apt at the crossroads.
2. Pass through Beaumettes and Lights.
3. Upon reaching the entrance of Apt, turn left at the roundabout of the shopping center E-LECLERC.
4. Take the D943 "Avenue du Viaduc" towards Saint Saturnin les Apt and cross the village.
5. At the end of the village, turn left onto the D2 "Route de Roussillon" towards Cavaillon, Gordes, Roussillon.
6. After 1.2 km, you will see a house with large cedars and an oratory at the entrance. Turn right in front of it, pass the domain of the Andes on your left, and make a right turn onto a small path to reach the bastide.
Itinerary 2: Route de Gordes
1. At Coustellet, turn left on the D2 towards the Imberts at the crossroads.
2. Continue on the D2 in the direction of Gordes. At the roundabout, go straight ahead (do not enter the village of Gordes), towards Joucas, La Tuilière, Saint Saturnin les Apt.
3. Before reaching Joucas, continue straight on La Tuilière, Saint Saturnin les Apt.
4. Cross the hamlet of La Tuilière and continue on the D2 for 4 km. Pass the hamlet of the Bellots, and after 100 meters, turn left onto the second small road to access Gite La Tonnelle.
