Description for B&B:

Experience the allure of a sophisticated French-style home. Le Céladon residence embodies the essence of French elegance with a touch of bourgeois charm. Meticulously renovated by its well-traveled owners, this residence exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of the town center, its stunning facade evokes curiosity and admiration. As you approach the entrance, the front steps lead you to a dual-aspect foyer, opening up to the park, reception rooms, a small office, and a family kitchen.

This residence seamlessly blends modernity, comfort, and respectful restoration. The original tiles, plasterwork, woodwork, fireplaces, and old parquet flooring have been lovingly preserved from the past. The addition of modern amenities such as bathrooms, a kitchen, WCs, a pool, and a pool house brings it into the present. The renovation has elevated its charm and elegance to new heights, making it a remarkable example of its kind. From the moment you step through the magnificent entrance, you are enveloped in a delightful and welcoming ambiance, with direct access to the expansive park at the rear.

The residence boasts various spaces that cater to relaxation and entertainment. The large and small lounges feature comfortable sofas and armchairs, while the dining room is adorned in green with Asian influences. A small office exudes a verdigris atmosphere, and the kitchen showcases a La Cornue range, providing a delectable and inviting environment. The park, with its century-old trees, seamlessly connects to a pond near the terrace, leading to a secure pool and a modern pool house. The pool house reflects the coastal heritage of western France, adorned with maritime accents and souvenirs. Multiple terraces, a jacuzzi, and rest areas complete the outdoor space, offering a privileged setting to admire sunsets or indulge in French-style breakfasts during summer evenings.

The interior decoration of each room exudes a sense of distant shores. Ancient objects and souvenirs collected from the owners' travels infuse each room with its unique personality, evoking memories of artistic encounters and faraway places. These treasures are thoughtfully scattered throughout the residence, enriching evenings, gatherings, and conversations.

Ascend the grand oak staircase to discover the private areas on the upper floors. Four comfortable guest rooms, named "Perle," "Nacre," "Jade," and "Ambre," each possess their own distinct colors and offer a tranquil retreat. The "Anakha" private lounge on the second floor provides a haven for relaxation, reading, and conviviality.

Le Céladon residence captures the enchantment of an elegant French-style home, where timeless beauty, modern comforts, and a well-traveled spirit converge to create an extraordinary living experience.

Appréciations pour Le Celadon, Montaigu:

Beautiful house and charming host
Review by: Keith Brannock, Mai 19 2017 12:55PM
My wife and I have stayed here twice and would love to retire to this house. The house is situated in the center of the town and is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Gorgeous is the only word that can describe the interior. The host is the most gracious person you will ever meet. Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Sophie.
