Welcome to Dagmar's Presbytery, your home away from home. Experience the charm of living in a historic parish house, constructed in the early 16th century.As you pass through the iron gate, you will be greeted by a vibrant courtyard, adorned with a variety of colorful flowers. The ancient walls and two towers, built with rubble stone in the traditional Brittany style, are enhanced by the captivating red and purple climbing roses.
Inside these time-honored walls, you will find respite from the summer heat and comfort on chilly winter days. The guest rooms, located on the second and third floors, offer picturesque views of the garden and the lush meadows of Brittany.
Indulge in the warm ambiance of the dining room, where a majestic chimney welcomes you with a cozy fire. Enjoy a delightful breakfast at an original monastery table, featuring homemade bread, jams made from our garden's bountiful fruits, eggs from our own poultry prepared to your liking, and your choice of French-style coffee or tea. For an authentic Breton dining experience, you can pre-order a typical Breton dinner expertly prepared by Dagmar (starting from 18€/p).
Unwind in our authentic living room, adorned with comfortable sofas and armchairs. Relax by the marble chimney as you immerse yourself in a good book or indulge in an afternoon tea, a glass of whiskey, or a flute of Champagne (additional charges apply).
Within a short 10-minute drive, you will discover the renowned 'Rochers Sevigne' Golf Course, named after the famous letter writer, Mme de Sevigne. Adjacent to the course stands her exquisite castle, showcasing the grandeur of the 17th century and the rich history of Louis XIV's court. In contrast, the medieval fortress of Vitré offers a captivating glimpse into its prominent role from the early 15th to the 17th century.
