Experience the charm of a restored 18th-century silk house in the heart of the picturesque hamlet of Chabanne. This stunning stone house seamlessly blends traditional character with contemporary design elements, boasting features such as old chestnut beams, stone windows, and antique furniture, as well as modern touches like polished concrete floors, a metal staircase, and aluminum door frames.With a total area of 70 m2, this cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests in its 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (140cm), while the other offers twin beds (90cm). The main floor features a walk-in shower and a lava stone sink accessible from both bedrooms.
The cottage's bright and cozy living room, with its high ceiling and large bay window overlooking the terrace, serves as the perfect gathering space. It is equipped with a kitchenette and a comfortable seating area with a flat-screen TV. The open kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and all the necessary utensils for meal preparation.
An iron staircase leads to a mezzanine level with a relaxation area furnished with a single bed (90cm) and a private terrace spanning 40 m2. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys, including the 3 valleys and Tanargue mountains. The terrace is furnished with a table, lounge chairs, an electric barbecue, and an old stone sink.
For nature enthusiasts, the cottage is conveniently located near several rivers, including the Ardèche, Fontaulière, and Bourges, offering beautiful spots for swimming and fishing.
Additional amenities include private parking in front of the house, a rental period from Saturday to Saturday, and the option to bring pets (prior agreement required, additional fee of 50€ per week). A tourist tax of 0.80€ per day per person over 18 years applies. Guests can also opt for the "household tranquility" option, priced at 60€, which takes care of the final cleaning.
