Introducing our new cottage, La Petite Vallée, located in the beautiful Black Perigord region. Xabi, Elise, and their children are excited to welcome you to this charming accommodation. Situated just 1.5 km from Rouffignac St Cernin village, it serves as an ideal base for exploring the stunning sites of Périgord.With a population of 1,600, Rouffignac St Cernin offers all necessary amenities such as supermarkets, ATMs, service stations, hairdressers, bars, restaurants, and even a Sunday market. Despite its proximity to these facilities, the cottage provides a peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by 5 acres of wooded land and offering a breathtaking view.
The cottage itself is well-appointed, featuring a spacious kitchen, a cozy lounge and dining area, and an office with internet access. The ground floor also includes a large bedroom with a comfortable 140cm bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms, one with a 140cm bed and the other with both a 140cm and a 90cm bed. A second bathroom with a bathtub and another separate toilet complete the layout. In total, we can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people.
For your convenience, we provide bed linen, towels, shower mats, and kitchen towels. Outside, you can relax on your terrace by the heated pool and enjoy meals under the covered porch, where a fantastic WEBER barbecue is at your disposal. Families with infants are welcome, as we offer baby equipment such as high chairs, changing mats, cots, high trek strollers, and playpens.
In terms of nearby attractions, Rouffignac Cave, with its impressive cave paintings, is just 4km away. The village market, held every Sunday, is also a must-visit. Other notable sites in the area include Roque St Christophe, Lascaux, Périgueux Cathedral, and the charming village of St Leon sur Vezere. The International Centre of Prehistory in Les Eyzies, located 16km away, is also worth a visit.
