Located in the charming hamlet of Les Chatres, near Cheniers (Creuse) and Aigurande (Indre), our accommodations offer a comfortable and spacious double room for two adults and one small child. The room includes a private en suite shower room and toilet, with amenities such as a cot, high chair, and baby bath available upon request. Additionally, enjoy the convenience of tea and coffee making facilities in the room, as well as a private lounge with a TV, WiFi, and a DVD player.

For those who prefer outdoor dining, there is a lovely patio/terrace area available, weather permitting. And if you're feeling adventurous, take advantage of our two adult bicycles for guests to use.

Upon request, we offer a delicious evening meal for 17.50 euros per person, including wine. We are also happy to accommodate special dietary needs if notified in advance.

Nearby attractions include Bourg dhem, which is a mere 15-minute drive away and offers a sandy beach, pedalos, and a bar/restaurant. The Tuilerie de Pouligny, located just 5 minutes away, provides a museum and an opportunity to make your own pottery.

For nature enthusiasts, there are ample opportunities for bird watching, cycling, walking, and fishing, with two rivers, La Creue and La Petite Creuse, right at your doorstep.

Our chambre d'hotes is conveniently located just over 1 hour and 30 minutes from Limoges airport and approximately 200 miles south of Paris. If you're traveling from Calais, the journey is approximately 6-7 hours. There are also direct rail connections from Paris/Lille to Chateauroux and La Souterraine.

Whether you're on your way to southern France or beyond, La Creuse serves as an ideal stopover point. Situated in the center of France, it offers a peaceful and convenient location for your travels.
