Originally constructed in 1680, La Ferme du Chateau offers a unique catered chalet accommodation experience. This farmhouse seamlessly combines traditional charm with modern comforts. Located in the picturesque farming village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, it is conveniently situated near various activities, as well as bars, shops, and restaurants.Our 5-star quality accommodation is available at an affordable price. With six ensuite bedrooms, each offering the option of twin or king-size double beds, our farmhouse can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests. All bedrooms are elegantly furnished, featuring luxurious amenities such as 5-star hotel quality beds, Egyptian cotton linen, luxury toiletries, fluffy dressing gowns, hairdryers, and iPod docking stations. Additionally, each room provides access to a south-facing balcony, with one bedroom boasting a private balcony. On the lower balcony, guests can indulge in relaxation with our sunken hot tub after a day of activities.
The living and dining area is exceptionally spacious and features a central wood-clad open fire. With six large sofas, a TV area on the minstrel gallery, a cozy reading snug, and a separate south-facing balcony, this living area provides ample space to unwind and enjoy aperitifs.
At La Ferme du Chateau, we pride ourselves on offering excellent food and wine. During the winter season, guests can enjoy a cooked English breakfast and afternoon tea daily, as well as a four-course evening meal with wine on six nights. We also provide the opportunity for guests to explore local restaurants on one evening, with an option for an early children's supper.
As an owner-run chalet, we prioritize providing exceptional service and ensuring our guests have the holiday they desire. From the moment guests arrive at Geneva, we take care of every detail, including ski hire arrangements, ski passes, refreshments at the chalet, daily transportation to the slopes, transportation to après-ski bars, and organizing trips to the thermal center, ski lessons, and more.
La Ferme du Chateau offers flexibility depending on the season. During winter, the farmhouse is available on a catered basis for holidays and breaks of three or more days. In the summer, guests can choose between self-catered, bed and breakfast, or half-board options, which include breakfast, tea, and a three-course evening meal with wine.
In addition to holiday accommodations, La Ferme du Chateau is an ideal venue for special events such as weddings, milestone birthdays, and corporate gatherings, including management training courses, senior management meetings, and team-building exercises.
