To reach Ferme du Chalet from Calais, it will take approximately 2.5 hours. From Boulogne, it will take around 2 hours. From Dieppe, it will take approximately 75 minutes, and from Le Havre, it will only take 20 minutes. Once you arrive at any of these ports, you should head towards the motorways that lead to the A29 motorway, which will take you to the Pont de Normandie. It is recommended to buy a return ticket for €5 at this point. As soon as you cross the bridge, you need to leave the motorway. The distance from the bridge toll booth to Ferme du Chalet is a 10-minute drive.
For travelers coming from Caen, Cherbourg, St Malo, or Roscoff, it is important to take the last exit off the motorway before crossing the Pont de Normandie. This exit is very late, and the bridge will be towering over you as you leave. From these ports, you should head towards the Pont de Normandie but not cross it.
The specific directions for each port are as follows:
- From Caen: Take A13 to A29 to Pont de Normandie.
- From Cherbourg: Take N13 to Caen, then the ring road to A13 to A29 to Pont de Normandie.
- From St Malo: Take D4 to Dol de Bretagne, then N176 to N175 to A84 motorway. Finally, take N175 to Caen, and then the ring road to A13 to A29 to Pont de Normandie.
- From Roscoff: Take D58 to N12 to N176, following the same route as from St Malo.

Then, take D312 towards Conteville and Berville. The cottages are situated just before the Church in Berville sur Mer.
When departing from the Pont de Normandie, take D580 in the direction of Pont Audemer. After approximately 1 mile, turn left at the roundabout onto D312. This road will lead you to Berville sur Mer. Ferme du Chalet is signposted to the left just before entering the village. It is possible to miss this sign, but you can also take the first left after the entrance sign to the village. The residence is located 500m down the road, immediately before and to the right of the church.
