This is a description of a rustic 15th century house located in the picturesque valley of the Besbre - Sologne Bourbonnaise. The house features the traditional architecture of the region, including a bread oven and fireplace. The walls are constructed using wooden beams and filled with a mixture of mud and straw, while the foundation is made of stone. The addition of a newer masonry building serves as the ensuite bathroom sheepfold. The house has been lovingly restored by local craftsmen using traditional techniques, with the addition of some modern comforts. It can accommodate up to 4 people with its 4 single beds. The Sculpture Park Erich Engelbrecht, known as the Château des Fougis, is conveniently located just 300 meters away. Our guests have the privilege of enjoying free access to the sculpture park during their stay.Description for Gite
Details and amenities:On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room with a fireplace and a traditional bread oven. The spacious kitchen also includes a dining area.
Upstairs, there is a bedroom with two single beds and a mezzanine with two more single beds. The twin beds can be combined to create double beds in both rooms.
The bathroom is located in a separate building called "The Sheepfold" and can be accessed from the outside (please refer to the photos).
Outside, there is a large lawn and a sturdy wooden table perfect for enjoying meals in the open air.
This getaway offers a tranquil atmosphere, free from the distractions of TV and internet. It's the perfect opportunity to relax and indulge in some wonderful reading.
Guests have access to parking on the property, as well as tennis and table tennis facilities. There is also a private pond available for swimming. Additionally, there are various hiking trails, canoeing opportunities, karting, quad biking, and other sports activities nearby.
A weekly set of towels and bed linen is included in the price.

- From October to April, there is a supplement for electricity, based on actual consumption (measured by the power meter from ERDF).
- Cleaning fee: 50.00 EUR
- Tourist tax: 0.60 EUR per person, per night.
