Our guest house is perfectly situated just a few meters away from the beautiful forest of Orleans and is surrounded by numerous points of interest and activities. Explore the famous castles of the Loire or visit the stunning Cathedral of Orleans, all conveniently close by. Whether you enjoy hiking, golfing, nautical activities, horse riding, or karting, there is something for everyone to enjoy!At La Demeure des détectives, we strive to offer more than just a place to sleep. Each of our four guest rooms is uniquely furnished and decorated to transport you to a different time and place, immersing you in the footsteps of an iconic detective. Experience Romantic Italy, Imperial China, Victorian England, and Modern Sweden through our charming and meticulously designed guest rooms.
Our Bed & Breakfast not only provides comfortable accommodation, but also offers a variety of activities. In addition to your quiet, bright, and spacious room, you will have access to over 150m² of common spaces and more than one hectare of garden. Indulge in indoor activities such as billiards, piano playing, board games, card games, and reading from our extensive collection of books. Alternatively, enjoy outdoor activities like table tennis, French Petanque, Finnish Mölkky, and various ball and racket games. To enhance your experience, we offer a delightful host table where you can savor the abundance of fruits and vegetables grown in our garden.

By Road:
From Orléans (approximately 25 minutes): Take the Tangential East and exit at Chécy. Turn left towards Neuville aux Bois and continue until you reach Traînou.
From Paris (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes): Take A6B, then N20 to Etampes. Take the D721, then the D921 to Pithiviers. From there, take Loury and join the D2152, following the signs to Traînou.
From central Traînou (approximately 2 minutes): Take rue du Gros Baril. At the end, turn left onto Rue de la Carrière and then right onto Rue de Laurendière. After passing the "Traînou" sign, turn right onto des Puiseaux.
By Train:
The nearest station is Orleans - Aubrais. From there, it is a 25-minute drive, 35 minutes by bus, or 1 hour by bike to reach your destination.
By Bus:
Take line 16 "Orleans - Ingrannes" and get off at either the Traînou Stadium stop or the College Traînou stop. You can find the bus timetable on the website ulys-loiret.com. If desired, we can arrange to pick you up from the bus stop, which is approximately 1km away from the guest house.
By Road:
