Description for Gite
Our gite, originally a watermill constructed in the late 18th century, is renowned for its exceptional location and well-equipped amenities. We believe that our gite should be enjoyed rather than left vacant, and as we have lived in it ourselves, we have paid meticulous attention to every detail.Whether you are a couple, a family, or a group of up to six, our gite offers the perfect holiday retreat. Its versatility is due to its spacious kitchen, bathroom, living room (featuring a cozy alcove bed), separate twin bedroom, and stunning grenier, which occupies the entire top floor. Staying here will make you feel like you are in a truly magnificent place, without the exorbitant price tag. Leaving will be a challenge!
The interior space is complemented by a terrace that overlooks our two-acre gardens, a nature reserve, streams, and the surrounding fields. This provides the perfect setting for observing the abundant bird and wildlife, enjoying a refreshing beer or glass of rosé, or watching the children play in the garden. The old millstream peacefully flows around the gite, creating a soothing acoustic backdrop that ensures a restful night's sleep.
There are countless activities to enjoy in the immediate area, ranging from kayaking and yoga to fishing, walking, and cycling. Unfortunately, we cannot list them all here, but we highly recommend visiting our website or contacting us for the latest information. Additionally, we are pleased to announce that for 2015, we have added a large children's playground on the mill island, complete with swings, a slide, climbing tower, and a rope ladder.
