Le Mas de la Pommeraie, a charming 18th-century Quercy farmhouse, is located just a stone's throw away from Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, in the heart of the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park. It has been recommended by the Cahors/Vallée du Lot tourist office since 2003. This family-owned house, which has been passed down for 5 generations, has been fully restored to its former glory.Situated in the picturesque Lot valley at Les Masseries, only 3 km from the village of Saint-Géry, Le Mas de la Pommeraie offers 5 delightful guest rooms. Each room is equipped with private sanitary facilities, TV, free wifi, comfortable memory foam bedding, soundproof doors and partitions, a kettle with a courtesy tray, and a view of the beautiful 12 x 6 salt-water swimming pool and 5000 m2 garden. For moments of relaxation and conviviality, there is a common lounge with a fireplace, as well as a collection of regional documentation and a library at your disposal. The surrounding environment is incredibly peaceful and serene.
In the evenings, Danièle and Marc invite you to savor the delicious Quercynoise specialties around the guest table. This experience is available on Tuesday and Saturday evenings, with prior reservation and subject to availability.
Breakfast at Le Mas de la Pommeraie includes a variety of treats such as yogurt, cheese, homemade cakes and jams, country bread, croissants, fruit juice, fresh fruit, cold cuts, and unlimited drinks.
The Mas de La Pommeraie is a tranquil haven located near numerous renowned tourist sites, making it an ideal base for exploring the Occitania region. Some of the must-see attractions include the famous St-Jacques-de-Compostelle road, the stunningly beautiful village of St-Cirq-Lapopie (which is classified as the first village in France), the Lot-Quercy region, the Pech Merle caves, the Halage path, the Château Cènevières, the truffle market in Lalbenque, the Pont-Valentré and St-Etienne Cathedral in Cahors (both listed as World Heritage sites by UNESCO), and the vineyards of Cahors. Additionally, the Lot valley, Célé valley, and Vers valley offer breathtaking landscapes. If you're interested in history, a visit to the Champollion Museum in the town of Figeac, which is just a 45-minute drive away, is highly recommended. For those seeking natural wonders, Rocamadour and the Padirac chasm are approximately 50 km away. très reposant
Nous avons passé 4 nuits chez Daniele et Marc,ce fût un séjour formidable ,les bavardages et plaisanteries de Daniele ainsi que ses petits déj copieux,la discrétion de Marc,le calme,la propreté et un jardin très bien entretenu ,une très belle maison pour se reposer;la piscine à ne surtout pas utiliser après 20 h (dommage 36/37 la journée )regrettons tout de même de ne pas avoir dégusté les petits plats de Daniele,merci à vous 2

Nous tenons à vous remercier de votre séjour dans notre maison d'hôtes et sommes ravis que vous ayez pu apprécier les bavardages et plaisanteries que nous avons pu partager avec les autres personnes sans oublier le calme que vous avez su apprécier lors de votre séjour. En ce qui concerne la piscine nous ne sommes pas d'accord avec votre commentaire car nous vous avions précisé que la piscine était ouverte du matin 8h et fermeture à 20h pour la tranquillité et la sécurité sachant que vous êtes arrivés à 16h30 alors que nous réceptionnons pas avant 17h et que vous aviez largement le temps de vous baigner avant 20h. Vous avez quand même pris la décision après 20h15 de vous baigner alors que vous saviez que tout le monde respectait cela et vous n'avez certainement pas apprécié notre remarque. Nous pensons qu'un gîte indépendant avec piscine serait plus approprié pour vos baignades nocturne à tout heure. Bien cordialement. Danièle et Marc.

nous avons passer un très bon séjour dans cette chambre d'hotes ou l'ont se sent tout de suite a l'aise.nous avons beaucoup apprecier le calme et la tranquilité de cet endroit et pourtant proche des grands lieux touristiques.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette chambre d'hôtes où tout était parfait, autant l'accueil que le confort, sans parler du très copieux petit-déjeuner. Danièle et Marc se donnent beaucoup de mal pour que leurs hôtes se sentent bien. Merci à eux deux.
