Saint Denis de Gastines is a charming village that offers all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Within the village, you will find a cozy restaurant/bar, a small supermarket, two bakeries, a pharmacy, a bank, and even a taxi service. On Thursday mornings, there is a vibrant fruit and vegetable market right in front of our Bed and Breakfast, and on Fridays, a fish market graces the village.If you choose to dine with us, we have a delicious menu available for evening meals.
For the adventurous souls, there is an abundance of sporting activities to partake in around Saint Denis de Gastines. You can enjoy fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and explore the picturesque surroundings on foot, horseback, or bicycle.
Conveniently located, we are only an hour and a half away from ferry ports and airports in Caen, Dinard, and St Malo. These transportation hubs provide regular flights both within France and abroad. Whether you are heading to the south of France, La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Biarritz, or even Spain and Portugal, our Bed and Breakfast is an ideal stop along your journey. And who knows, you may even choose to return and see us again.
To unwind and soak up the sun, we have a lovely courtyard where you can relax in the shade. The Loire region enjoys pleasant and sunny weather during the summer, accompanied by a gentle breeze.
Finding us is a breeze as we are located opposite the church, which is visible from most parts of the village. We have three guest rooms, all equipped with washing facilities. Two of our rooms offer a charming view of the church, while one provides a glimpse of the village and its captivating surroundings in the heart of the Mayenne.
