This mansion, dating back to the 19th century, has been impeccably maintained, showcasing its original period decor. With its grand entrance hall adorned with trompe l'oeil paneling and delicate silk-screened glass panes, Le Clos des Noyers offers a warm welcome to guests.Guests can unwind in the lounge area, complete with a TV and library, or enjoy their breakfast in the dining room, spacious kitchen, or on the sunny south terrace. A magnificent Volvic stone staircase leads to the guest rooms on the upper floor, offering a choice of three double bedrooms or the enchanting "The Combrailles" room, all featuring spacious layouts, tranquility, and a charming decor inspired by the surrounding Auvergne countryside.
The property, enclosed by walls, provides a sense of privacy. At the front of the house, there is a large south-facing terrace and a cozy French garden shaded by trees. At the rear, there is a medieval garden with a variety of flowers and a square dedicated to aromatic herbs, followed by a vast parkland filled with majestic trees such as cedar, pine, chestnut, redwood, and charm. Additionally, there is an orchard boasting apple, pear, cherry, and grape trees.

Le Clos Walnut is located in the center of Combronde, just 5 minutes away from the A71-A89 highway exits. We are a 10-minute drive from Riom and 20 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand. The closest train station is Riom - Châtel Guyon, and the nearest airport is Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne Airport. If you prefer to walk, the GR300 trail runs alongside our property. Parking is available in our enclosed courtyard, accessed through a gate (a badge will be provided). We also have a barn where you can securely park your bikes.
