Welcome to our charming country cottage located in the beautiful "marais poitevin" region in South Vendee. Situated in the peaceful rural hamlet of Baude, just 2km from Montreuil, 12 km from Fontenay the Comte, and a short 45km drive to the stunning beaches of la Faute sur mer and only 60 km from the vibrant city of La Rochelle.This historic farmhouse, spanning 130 m2, was lovingly renovated in 2002, ensuring the preservation of the region's unique architecture while creating a comfortable and inviting country retreat. Thanks to the efficient fuel-fired central heating, our gîte is open for visitors throughout the year. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway, a week-long escape, or an extended stay, we offer flexible options to suit your needs.
On the ground floor, you'll find a convenient storeroom with a washing machine and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen boasting a refrigerator, deep-freeze, dishwasher, and microwave, as well as a cozy living room complete with a color TV. We also provide indoor games for your entertainment. Additionally, there is a comfortable double bedroom with a separate shower and WC on this level.
Moving upstairs, you'll discover three twin bedrooms, a shower room with a WC, and a separate bathroom with a WC, ensuring ample space and comfort for all guests.
