Slatters Cottage is a luxurious self-catering holiday cottage that holds a prestigious Grade II listing. Certain parts of the cottage can be traced back to the 17th century, adding to its historical charm. Tucked away in a tranquil country lane in Bourton-on-the-Hill, near Moreton-in-Marsh, this cottage exudes character and offers a delightful retreat for couples seeking a cosy and romantic getaway or anyone looking for a charming base to explore the picturesque Cotswolds.

The ground floor of the cottage features a stone-walled lounge with a beamed ceiling, providing a rustic ambiance. A large inglenook fireplace with a log burning stove and a window seat add to the warm and inviting atmosphere. Recently redecorated and refurbished to an exceptionally high standard, the cottage boasts tasteful furnishings. On the same level, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge/dining area complete with a dining table and chairs, a comfortable leather sofa and armchair, a colour television, a Freeview box with digital radio, a DVD player, a CD/MP3 player with radio, and an adjacent toilet and utility room. The cottage also offers a wide selection of books, DVDs, CDs, and various games for your entertainment.

The cottage comes fully equipped with modern conveniences including a gas cooker, a fridge with a freezer section, a separate freezer, a microwave, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, and gas central heating.

Upstairs, you will discover a charming double bedroom with a luxurious five pocket sprung mattress and a television. There is also a single bedroom, comfortably accommodating up to three guests (plus a baby in a travel cot), offering delightful views of the village and the surrounding countryside. The toilet/bathroom is located on this floor and features a bath with a shower-over-bath.

For your convenience, a payphone is available, and mobile reception is possible depending on your network. Off-road parking is provided directly outside the cottage for one car, and additional parking is always available on the road directly opposite.

If needed, a travel cot and high chair can be provided at no extra cost. All bedding and linen (except for the travel cot) as well as towels are provided free of charge. We are happy to accommodate one well-behaved dog upon request (restricted to the downstairs area only) for a small additional fee. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the cottage.

Please note that the stairs leading to the first floor are slightly steep, which may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues or toddlers.
