Welcome to La Wisteria, a charming stone Perigordian Farmhouse that offers a traditional and cozy atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room with a large stone fireplace provide a comfortable setting for your stay. Upstairs, the three bedrooms feature beautiful beamed ceilings and offer breathtaking views of the valley from the windows. Additionally, there are two balconies, one perfect for enjoying the morning sun and the other ideal for sipping a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the valley.For outdoor dining and relaxation, there is a lovely terrace with a barbecue where you can enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal.
Our family-friendly establishment, Les Gites Fleuris, offers a range of amenities for both adults and children. These include a refreshing pool, a relaxing jacuzzi, expansive grounds, and a children's play area equipped with swings, a climbing wall, a raised fort, a slide, and a volley/badminton net. Indoors, there is a games room with various games, toys, and a ping pong table. Additionally, a central laundry room with a washer and dryer, as well as WiFi, is available for your convenience.
After a day of sightseeing, you can unwind and recharge in this wonderful setting. The location of HAUTEFORT is perfect for exploring the Dordogne Region, as many incredible sites are within a one-hour radius. Whether you're interested in visiting castles, exploring CroMagnon Caves, strolling through medieval villages, browsing open-air markets, or discovering Roman ruins, this area offers a wealth of history and attractions that will captivate the whole family.
Of course, we can't forget about the food! The Perigord region is renowned for its culinary delights. Known as the home of the black truffle, one of France's most famous and luxurious foods, this little corner of Southwest France offers a gastronomic experience like no other. You can also indulge in foie gras, a typical French delicacy made from fattened goose or duck liver, along with other Canard specialty dishes. Many of our guests have praised the exceptional meals they've enjoyed in Hautefort, making it a culinary highlight of their stay. Furthermore, the wine regions of Bergerac and Bordeaux are just a short 1-1.5 hour drive away.
